IGNOU MA Admission 2025-26: Indira Gandhi National Open University is a known distance learning university in India that offers various UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate courses. IGNOU MA Admission Eligibility

After completion of bachelor’s course in any stream with a minimum mark of 50%, students can apply for MA course at IGNOU. Admission in any specializations of the Master of Arts course is based on the marks of previous studies of the students. IGNOU MA Admission Courses and Fees

Master of Arts is available in various disciplines at IGNOU and its fees also vary with their specializations. Its application fee is INR 300 for any MA program, which is not included in academic fees. The fee structure of master’s courses is comparatively cheaper than other institutes. • Master of Arts (Education): It includes INR 19,000 for 2 years and INR 9,500 per year.
• Master of Arts (Development Journalism): INR 10,00 per year. 
• Master of Arts (Economics): It costs INR 8,800 per year.

• Master of Arts in Translation Studies: Per year fee ranges from INR 6,200 and overall is INR 12,400. 
• Master of Arts in Environmental Studies: Annual fee is INR 6,000/- and total course fee is INR 12,000.
• Master of Arts in Bhagavad Gita Studies: It’s yearly fees is INR 6,300/-
• Master of Arts in Journalism and Electronic Media: The total course is INR 25,000/-.

IGNOU MA Re-Registration Process

The re-registration last date for Master of Arts in different streams is extended for 2025 academic year. The last application can be submitted before 28 February 2025 for January cycle. Students who are already enrolled in any specialization of MA course can apply for their 2nd year after completing 1st year. The re-registration can be done on the official website of IGNOU. Students who are enrolled at IGNOU are advised to apply for their 2nd year before the last date.
